     BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING

    Wednesday August 27, 2008

      4:00 p.m.

The meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held at 4:00 pm in the Sharon Town Offices with Selectman William A. Heitin and Selectman Walter “Joe” Roach and Town Administrator Ben Puritz

The meeting was called to order at 4:25 p.m. at the Johnson Drive site.

JOHNSON DRIVE

Selectmen Heitin, Selectmen Roach, Town Administrator Puritz and Town Engineer Peter O’Cain left to tour the site.   They were met at the site by Chairman Powell and Josh Kiernan who is the DPW Representative from the Finance Committee.

The plans, access, elevation, slope consideration, and water supply were reviewed. Also discussed was the process of selling of Town land as well as valuation methods.  The Selectmen requested that Peter O’Cain draft a letter to the county that states that the southeastern boundary is satisfactory relative to the County initiating layout abandonment procedures.

VOTED: (Heitin/Roach) Voted unanimously to adjourn.

The Board adjourned at 4:35 P.M.
